Coalitions
Aligned by issue. Grounded in evidence. Built to do the work.
CANN convenes three working coalitions — one for HIV/AIDS, one for viral hepatitis, and one with industry. Each was built to do something the rest of the policy world wasn't: align the patient organizations, providers, and partners working on a specific issue around a coordinated, evidence-grounded policy agenda.
Coalition members shape the analysis we publish, the testimony we give, and the issues we prioritize. They're not customers and they're not constituents — they're the working groups that make the work coherent.
Working Groups
Since 1996. Our HIV/AIDS coalition — federal AIDS Drug Assistance Program policy, Ryan White Care Act implementation, ADAP formulary access, and the federal and state programs that determine who gets HIV treatment.
Since 2012. Our viral hepatitis coalition — HCV access, screening expansion, payer policy, and elimination strategy.
Our standing dialogue with pharmaceutical and life sciences industry partners. The IAG is where CANN's analysis meets the practical realities of drug development, distribution, and pricing — without speaking for industry or letting industry speak for us.
