Gary R. Rose is currently President of Health Systems Consulting, an independent consultancy specializing in programs to improve access to care for people living with HIV, HCV and leukemia. He serves as the access advisor to the National Viral Hepatitis Roundtable and drafted their position papers on health care reform. He also continues to serves, as he has done for 10 years, as the public policy chair and viral hepatitis coordinator of the Community Access National Network (formerly TIICANN).
Kathie M. Hiers is the Chief Executive Officer of AIDS Alabama, a nonprofit organization that works statewide to provide housing and supportive services to low-income persons with HIV/AIDS as well as education, outreach, and testing. AIDS Alabama has subcontracts with the other nine AIDS Service Organizations and clinics in the state of Alabama to provide services to all 67 counties. Kathie has been with AIDS Alabama since January 2001. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Mobile AIDS Support Services and the founder of the Lee Simmons Fund for People Living with AIDS in Mobile, Alabama.
Industry representative with twelve years experience working within HIV/AIDS community; strong interpersonal and project management skills, including leadership on state working groups and an understanding of HIV/AIDS access, funding and care issues.
Valerie Volpe has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for the past three decades with focus on stakeholder relationships. Her work focuses on partnering with key health care leaders on policy and access issues affecting the areas of infectious disease, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, oncology, neurology and women’s health.
Bill Arnold is a longtime HIV/AIDS activist and consumer organizer and has been active in developing HIV/AIDS Organizations and HIV/AIDS policy at the local, State and national level since the mid 1980's. He is a founding director of The Community Access National Network and is currently its C.E.O. CANN is active nationally and at state and local levels in advocacy and policy issues involving Ryan White Part B funding, the AIDS Drug Assistance Program, and client issues of Part B funded programs. These issues tend to center on access to appropriate HIV/AIDS care and treatments for HIV+ American.
The Honorable Donna Christian Christensen, MD (D - US Virgin Islands)
The Honorable Donna M. Christensen continues to distinguish herself as a leader in the United States Congress. As a Member serving her seventh term, she is the first female physician in the history of the U.S. Congress, the first woman to represent an offshore Territory, and the first woman Delegate from the United States Virgin Islands.
The Honorable Maurice Hinchey (D - NY 22nd)
Maurice D. Hinchey is a leading progressive, Democratic voice in Congress and has earned a reputation as a hard-working and effective advocate for the middle class. He represents New York's 22nd Congressional District, which spans eight counties from the Hudson Valley to the Finger Lakes region. Maurice is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, which allocates funds in the federal budget. On that panel, he serves on the Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies; the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies; and the Subcommittee on Defense. Hinchey is also a member of the House Natural Resources Committee. Additionally, the congressman is one of only 20 members on the bicameral Joint Economic Committee.
A long- term survivor of AIDS, Jeff Bloom is a volunteer AIDS Patient Advocate since retiring in August of 1994 from permanently disabling complications from HIV infection of the spinal cord. Currently Mr. Bloom serves on the Founding Board of Directors of TIICANN - The Title II Community AIDS National Network and is active in numerous Congressional and FDA events and activities. Mr. Bloom is also an active member of The Patients and Consumers Coalition - a broad based Coalition of groups that advocates for positive change at the FDA. Mr. Bloom served as the patient representative on the FDA Antiviral Drug Advisory Committee and will be serving as the patient representative with the FDA Anesthetic & Life Support Advisory Committee. He also assisted the FDA in developing, planning and implementing a FDA workshop for patient representatives.
In his "previous (pre-AIDS) life", Eric was the Director of Operations at the Arkansas Radio Network and a reporter at KARN in Little Rock. Since 1991, he has served on numerous boards, including the Arkansas Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (RAIN) of Arkansas, the Arkansas Community Planning Group for HIV Prevention, the Arkansas Association of People With AIDS, and the Arkansas HIV Services Planning Council. He now works as the volunteer chair of the Arkansas ADAP Working Group, and as an educator and public policy director for Positive Voices, an Arkansas HIV+ Membership organization.

Dr. Duffus is currently an Associate Professorwith the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine, and InfectiousDiseases Division where he sees HIV/AIDS patients in the Ryan White Clinic.

Robin T. Webb is currently the Executive Director and Founder of A Brave New Day, an organization based in Jackson, MS. The organization’s mission is to educate and empower anyone facing a life threatening disease or condition. Currently, the organization’s primary focus is to organize a state network of PLWHA and (secondarily) HIV/AIDS service organizations. Notably, he serves as the Alternate Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Southern AIDS Coalition and a member of the MS Community Planning Group and the MS Ryan White Care Services Council.
